​A Medieval Midwinter Concert

St Peter's Church, Bexhill, Church St, Bexhill-on-Sea TN40 2HE
This concert presented a programme of Advent and Christmas music in the atmospheric setting of St Peter's Church - a miscellany of seasonal music from a variety of composers from the 14th Century to the present day. Plenty of well known favourites such as 'Gaudete',  'In Dulci Jubilo', 'Gabriel's Message' and 'The Coventry Carol' as well as some more unusual pieces.

Our series of Baroque Opera. Costumed and candlelit, the programme will include music from the baroque period, featuring composers Purcell, Monteverdi, Gay, Handel and Telemann. Conducted by Kenneth Roberts and directed by Karen McInally, the chorus of OSE joined by the voices of Lucy Ashton, Marina Ivanova, John Twitchen and Oscar Smith, together with the Baroque Strings and Fipple Consort

Clash! is part of the ROOT 1066 International Festival, a festival of contemporary arts inspired by the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings and funded by Hastings Borough Council and Arts Council England.
Seven Hastings choirs are collaborating with poets/spoken word artists and composers from across the South East, to create a musical 'tapestry' of new choral commissions responding to the Bayeux Tapestry’s narration of the great Battle of 1066.
